NRCan X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analyzer Operator Certification Level 1 Practice Exam

In XRF, you first determine what elements are in the sample and then, if needed, how much of those elements are present. Qualitative results identify which elements are present by detecting their characteristic X-ray lines; they don’t give a precise amount.
